Welcome to Valley Sports & Classic Cars. We are a classic car club based in the Blackwood area of South Wales (As opposed to the Blackwood Classic Car Club, which is based in Lanarkshire, Scotland). At present (2007) we have a small membership encompassing many different types of vehicle. Some members have roadworthy vehicles, whilst others have restoration projects (Whilst others have both!). Some members use their classics entirely as a hobby, whilst others use classics as working vehicles. There are valid reasons for doing this - CLICK HERE to view an interesting link. There is broad spread of experience amongst our membership, which we are more than happy to share with new and old members alike. Our members are drawn from all age groups and in some cases, members cars are older than their owners!
We meet every Wednesday evening, at approximately 8.30 pm, in the Crown Pub, Pontllanfriath. It is easy to find (CLICK HERE for a map) and has an excellent car park. Come along for a chat about cars (And/or many other subjects!), or simply to take a nap!!
We try to organise several social events throughout the year (Check out our Tour Website!). We therefore extend a hearty welcome to you in the hope that you participate in some of our activities and look forward to seeing you at our meetings.
